Local favorite Syria T. Berry not only brings an incredible amount of joy to the stage, but also the ability to stylistically cover a wide variety of musical landscape; including songs from Van Morrison, Don Henley, Crosby Stills and Nash, Elvis, Smokey Robinson, and favorites from the 50’s to artists of today. Syria has sung with the Contra Costa Light Opera Association and performed at the Gospel Academy Awards at the Paramount Theater. He has opened for the Coasters, Billy Preston, Barbara Lewis and the Drifters.
