Join artists Harold and Peggy Francis at Markham Vineyards on Saturday, to view their new Blues to Psychedelia art installation on display until December 2016 in the Markham Gallery. The event will feature Markham wines, live music by solo guitarist Al James and the opportunity to chat with the artists about their works. This reception is free and open to the public, no prior reservation necessary.
Blues to Psychedelia is comprised of two distinct series of paintings, one series from each artist. It highlights the enduring influence of American Southern blues on contemporary music and the colorful abstraction of psychedelic art.
