The Napa Valley Youth Symphony and Sinfonia present an evening of music at the Lincoln Theater showcasing the talents of Napa Valley youth. NVYS’s training ensemble, Sinfonia, will perform a program, including Gustav Holst’s pastoral Brook Green Suite and an Brahms’ fiery Hungarian Dance No. 5.
The Napa Valley Youth Symphony will feature three young concerto competition winners playing Fauré’s sweeping Elegie (Tevy Emoedi, cello), and the first movements of violin concertos by Haydn (Abigail Washburn, violin) and Bériot (Maggie Carpenter, violin).
