Lunafest, the fundraising film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women’s issues, highlighting women filmmakers, and bringing women together in their communities, is being hosted by Soroptimist St. Helena Sunrise. All proceeds from Lunafest will benefit the Breast Cancer Fund, Girls On The Run Napa & Solano, Napa Emergency Women’s Services and Soroptimist St. Helena Sunrise. Thus far, Lunafest, which is celebrating 15 years and is created and funded by Luna, The Whole Nutrition Bar for Women, has raised over $2.9 million dollars, featured 127 filmmakers and thousands of attendees have come away moved, entertained and inspired. This seasons program includes 6 films by, for & about women.
